i've never grown things (well, i had a basil plant but it was very codependent and died when i refused to live in that kind of relationship), so this planting thing is all new to me. all suggestions are welcome!

thanks for your gbook message--yeah, i so know what you mean about being the troublemaker in your family. actually, now that me & my brothers are grown up, this happens less (meaning that they stand up for themselves more, too), but i was definitely the bad one growing up. btw, i was wanting to read more of your archives but when you click on "older" only entries thru july show up! (i think andrew wrote a news post a while ago on this error & how to fix your archives?)

Oh gosh, I just tried to email you and it came back to me. Hmph. Oh my gosh, would you really help me!?! Oh thank you so much!! The interview is with The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in Los Angeles. The listing I applied to is http://www.ngltf.org/about/jobsfieldsrfieldorgla.htm Luckily the qualifications aren't previous experience but...still nervous. =) And the whole "knowledge of all aspects of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community" worries me because I don't actually have that. But but but I'm interested and want to learn! My phone interview is tomorrow at 9am and I'm freaking out! So any help you could give me would be appreciated far more than you can even imagine! I love your diary! I too, freak myself out when I, from time to time, agree with Dr. Laura. I used to listen to her back in the day (you know, before she became a born again virgin and all) She did have a lick of sense back then. Too bad she doesn't know that the hateful people she so rabidly supports will eventually turn on her too.
