Good Jesus. It would take a lot less time to just cut everybody a bonus check. Think of the savings in shopping time, bag-stuffing time, sticky-verse-composing time, and even the time it takes everybody to go through and read the damn notecards!

i agree with you re: red states. i live in a red state. all my liberal coworkers (and that's ALL of them) are hemming and hawwing about moving to canada, moving to a blue state, etc. i'm like - hold up sally! the red states is where you need to go. if liberals feel the need to DO something as drastic as move, they need to find the closest red state and go for it. i plan to stay right here in NC and fight!

has your life gotten better in the last four years? Yes. Do you feel more secure that you will have money for your retirement? Yes. Do you feel more secure your kids won’t have to take out loans the size of a mortgage to finance their education? Yes. Do you feel more secure, period? Yes. i'd rather have the "War on Terror" or whatever it is fought outside of the US borders rather than in the US. fwiw, i do not trust John Kerry. he lies about his faith (he's no Catholic by any means). he's more of a consensus president rather than a decisive one. i don't believe him when he says that he has America's best interests at heart. i just don't believe him.
